Ta Hol began his journey as a monk at the Prasat Banteay Srei Pagoda in Siem Reap Province, where he learned the Pali language from a senior monk. He developed the ability to understand and recite Pali texts in various rituals.
Master Sang Sophea
In 2018, he studied under Master Sang Sophea in Siem Reap Province. He focused on traditional tattoo art and design, gaining skills in creating tattoos and understanding the meanings behind each design. He also learned about the cultural significance of these practices, with Master Sophea being a highly respected figure in Cambodia.
Master Po Sambor
In 2023, Ta Hol continued his education with Master Po Sambor in Battambang Province. He deepened his knowledge of spiritual practices, tattoo art, and design, and received a certificate of achievement as a fifth-generation student from Master Po Sambor, another esteemed teacher in Cambodia.
Master Lot Bor
In 2024, he furthered his studies with Master Lot Bor in Siem Reap Province. He continued to refine his skills in tattoo art and design, receiving a certificate as a sixth-generation student, again under the guidance of a highly respected teacher in Cambodia.
Master Sorn Phat
Also in 2024, Ta Hol studied with Master Sorn Phat in Battambang Province. He expanded his expertise in tattoo art and received a certificate as a seventh-generation student, continuing his journey of learning from esteemed mentors.
Master Say Teven
In 2024, he began daily studies with Master Say Teven in Siem Reap Province, focusing on ancient tattoo techniques and the cultural roots of Cambodian heritage. Master Say Teven is known for his deep understanding of traditional practices and is highly regarded in the community.
